Serene Play No.2

$4,315.00

I rarely paint without an end goal, but this collection was just that. I was barefoot in the studio with jazz on in the background playing with paint. I hope they inspire you to play and get lost in the moment.

Playing with paint will always be part of my process. I promised myself that I would continue learning and experimenting as my creative practice grew. After all, part of being creative is playing! As I play, I often make room for new ideas and styles. This means you'll see these types of experiments from time to time when I need to depart from my traditional style.

They may be here for a short while or to stay. When rewatching the timelapse of this painting process, I noticed that the pigments continued to shift well beyond the time I touched them. There was little control over the final outcome. That's another reason I love them.

This painting is an original 30”x 40”x1.5” acrylic painting on stretched linen canvas. It can be hung on the wall or put in a maple reveal frame, as shown above. It would be perfectly paired with its partner painting as a centerpiece. Please note that the colors in this painting are displayed as accurately as possible, but as colors vary from screen to screen, slight variations in person should be expected.

Please allow ten days for processing times in the studio. Please select the “Large Art” option at checkout if shipping. Final shipping costs, whether more or less, will be calculated upon receipt of the destination address. This painting can also be picked up at the Studio.
