Savannah, Georgia, has always held a special place in my heart, and while painting this marsh scene, I was reminded of all of the beautiful times I spent there. The reference photo for this painting was taken while crossing the last bridge from Savannah to Tybee Island on a slightly overcast morning with my best friend from kindergarten. I hope it reminds you of a particular time in your life too!
