For me, this year began with a creative retreat with 25 other artists. We visited the Phoenix Botanical Garden during that inspiring weekend, one of the most extensive gardens I’ve ever seen! We wandered around for over 2 hours, and I’m positive that I didn’t see all it had to offer. I’ve never seen so many types of Cacti in one place. Those shown in the painting are the kind I dream of having on a property I’d like to own one day. We can all dream.
